Mixing Discipleship · One on one with David Glenn

The last time you wonder if your mixes are good enough.

Trial and error mixing ends here. You stop hunting for the setting you think you're missing, and you become the engineer people pay good money to send their songs to. One of your songs, mixed start to finish in Pro Tools with the plugins you already own, then broken down decision by decision until you can rebuild it yourself.

Listen to what clarity actually sounds like.

This is a real Mixing Discipleship student's track. Not a polished demo, not a marketing mix. Their own mix, then mine, same song and the same tools.

THEIR MIX · where it started MY MIX · same song, same tools

Same song. Same tools. Better decisions, every time. That is the whole product.

Who this is for

You already know how to mix. Something is still missing.

You have watched the tutorials. You own good plugins. Your mixes are competent, and they still don't sit next to the records you love. Courses can't tell you why, because courses can't hear your song.

This changes things even if…

You're completely self-taught and it feels like stitching together a broken puzzle. Missing pieces, random advice, no real roadmap.

Every time you put your mix next to a pro's, something is missing. The punch, the clarity, the confidence, and you can't work out what.

Your mixes come out flat, muddy or lifeless, short of a tight low end, a focused vocal, and impact that actually moves people.

You've watched every tutorial there is, and the more you learn the more lost you feel. Drowning in content, starving for clarity.

You second-guess everything, so what should take hours drags into weeks. Or never gets finished at all.

You struggle to attract serious clients, because somewhere underneath you know your mixes don't sound professional enough yet.

You're discouraged. You measure yourself against better-equipped rooms and more experienced engineers and wonder if you will ever catch up.

This is where that changes. You bring the heart. I'll mix your song, show you how it works, walk with you through the rebuild, and coach you until your mix stands on its own.

This is a fit if

  • You are mixing real songs for real artists, or you're close
  • You can name what you want your mixes to sound like
  • You want to be shown on your own material, not a demo session
  • You are ready to put the work in over the next month or two

This is not a fit if

  • You are looking for a free critique of a mix
  • You want someone to mix for you without learning why
  • You are brand new and haven't finished a mix yet
  • You want a course you can watch passively
What happens to your song

Your song, mixed in front of you.

I mix your track in Pro Tools using your plugins, so nothing I show you depends on gear you don't have, and you watch the whole thing happen on camera. Where a job is long and repetitive, cleaning up every tom fill on a record, I show you the move, why it works, and enough passes for it to become yours, instead of filming the fortieth one. Then you rebuild the mix yourself while I give you feedback on what you built.

Four clients a month. The cap is there so the four people in it get my full attention instead of a place in a queue. It's a real limit rather than a countdown timer. When a month fills, the next application starts the following one.

What it has done for the engineers who did it.

"I hired David to create a custom mix and walk me through it, and I couldn't be happier. Watching him break down the mix step-by-step, using the exact tools I already own, gave me more clarity and confidence than any course I've taken. The video breakdowns were next-level, and the personal feedback I received as I built my own version of the mix made all the difference. If you want hands-on mentorship from someone who actually cares about your growth, David's your guy."

"Working with David has been a total game-changer. He didn't just teach me how to mix better, he stepped into my world, mixed my song, and then helped me build that sound into my own system. The clarity, depth, and emotion I'm getting in my mixes now? I've never been more confident."

"As a pastor, I've always cared deeply about the message, but with David's help, now our sound carries that same level of excellence and impact. He didn't just mix one of our worship songs, he brought our vision to life. What amazed me most is that we're now achieving mixes that rival churches with much bigger budgets and far more gear."

"I've spent time at Full Sail, worked alongside other engineers, and logged countless hours in multi-million dollar studios, but my biggest breakthroughs came from watching David mix. Something about his workflow just made everything click. It wasn't just inspiring, it was transformational."

"After going through David's tutorials, I landed my first paid mixing clients. I spent 2 years in audio school and 4 more at OSU studying recording engineering, but I learned more from just one of David's courses than all six years combined. The way he explains things just makes sense. It gave me the confidence to finally start charging for my work."

Application first. You will see the full enrollment terms before you commit to anything, and you'll be talking to me rather than to a closer.

After you apply

You'll hear from me, not from a funnel.

There is no booking grid and no sales team. The application tells me whether I can actually help you, and then I write to you myself.

You apply

A few questions about your song, your setup, and where you're stuck. Full enrollment details, including cost, are on the application before you commit to anything.

I read it and reply personally

If it's a fit, you get an email from me. If it's not, I'll tell you that too, and point you at the thing that actually helps.

We talk it through

A short call, about fifteen minutes, so you can ask anything before deciding. You will be talking to me, not to a closer.

Questions

Does applying commit me to anything?

No. The application helps me understand your goals and see whether this is the right next step for you. Plenty of people apply and decide the timing is wrong, and that's a fine outcome.

What does it cost?

$2,997, or five payments of $647. That includes lifetime access to the Control Room, which is $497 on its own. This is a premium one on one program rather than a course, and the number is on this page on purpose: I'd rather you decide with it in front of you than find it after you have applied.

Do I need Pro Tools?

I mix in Pro Tools, and the walkthroughs are recorded there. Engineers on other DAWs have done this and translated it, so tell me what you use on the application and I will be straight with you about how well it will carry over.

Do I need expensive plugins?

No. I mix your song with the plugins you already own, on purpose. If I showed you moves that depended on something you don't have, the breakdown would be useless to you.

What if my song isn't finished?

It needs to be tracked and edited to the point where mixing is the next real step. If it's not there yet, say so on the application and I will tell you honestly whether to wait.

How long does it take?

Plan on a few weeks from start to finish, depending on how fast you rebuild your version and how our schedules line up.

One song is usually all it takes.

Tell me about your track and where it's falling short. If I can help, you'll hear from me directly.
